Illumina has committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2050

Illumina has joined the Business Ambition for 1.5°C campaign, a global coalition led by the UN Global Compact, Science Based Targets and We Mean Business Coalition.

Our partner's commitment to climate action and social responsibility objectives is strengthened by this new agreement.

On joining the United Nations Global Compact campaign, Illumina CFO Sam Samad stated, "Climate change endangers people's health, the environment, and the global economy. Setting ambitious emissions reduction targets is an important part of our global business strategy to reduce the risk associated with climate change, identify opportunities, build resilience to potential climate impact, and communicate our progress to all stakeholders."

This commitment makes us very proud, as Quilaban also supports the United Nations Global Compact's sustainable development goals.
