In the day of 28th of June, at 2 p.m., Alifax®, a company which Quilaban represents, offered a web conference to all of our customers with an increasingly important theme: “The fundamental role of susceptibility tests to clinic antibiotics in the management of critical patients”.

In this meeting, it has been possible to go further with the importance of an early treatment of Sepsis with the correct antimicrobial therapy and the use of a big quantity of intravenous fluids, in order to increase the survival chances. 

The speakers were Dr. Carlos Sanchez Carrillo who works in Gregorio Marañon Hospital, in Madrid, Spain, at the Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases department and Dr. Fabio Arena, doctor that works in the Medical and Microbiological Biotechnology department at S. Maria alle Scotte Polyclinic, Siena, Italy.
