Reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Clinical Diagnostics, the role’s main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the entire sales process and establishing partnerships with our clinical clients;
  • Successfully formulating and implementing commercial and territorial plans;
  • Achieving the sales targets set out in the team’s annual objectives plan;
  • Conducting training sessions, demonstrations, and/or adaptations of products and equipment for the assigned client portfolio;
  • Preparing a weekly plan and weekly report on activities carried out;
  • Ensuring adherence to the Annual Visit Plan (PAV);
  • Identifying the positions and technical specifications required for Public Tenders, in coordination with the Public Tenders Manager and Application Specialists, and reviewing the final proposal, whenever possible, before submission to the client;
  • Validating commercial proposals, when within the scope of their competencies, or when authorised by the Diagnostics Director and Deputy Director of Clinical Diagnostics;
  • Providing clients with all relevant and available information and documentation (acquired through training sessions);
  • Collecting, recording, and keeping all relevant customer and competitor information up to date on a monthly basis, by preparing a detailed Monthly Sales Report;
  • Attending National and International Congresses as designated by the Diagnostics Director and assisting with logistics.

What we expect from you:

  • A degree in healthcare, particularly in Chemistry or another relevant field for the role;
  • Experience in technical sales, preferably in chromatography or mass spectrometry;
  • Extensive experience and a solid understanding of the clinical market;
  • A highly motivated individual with perseverance and dynamism;
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Willingness to travel across the national territory (including islands);
  • Strong interpersonal skills, verbal communication, and negotiation abilities;
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking;
  • Immediate availability (preferred).
