The initiative visited several healthcare units in the North and South of the country to introduce the new Sepsis panel of the QIAstat-Dx system and promote knowledge sharing on the diagnosis of this critical condition.
On 16th and 17th June, the Clinical Diagnostics team at Quilaban, together with QIAGEN, conducted a series of visits to clients in the North and South of the country. The initiative’s main objective was to present the new Sepsis panel of the QIAstat-Dx system, strengthening proximity with healthcare professionals and promoting discussion around the challenges associated with sepsis diagnosis.
Over the two days, participants had the opportunity to learn about the capabilities of the new solution and explore its potential impact on clinical practice. The new panel supports faster diagnosis and better therapeutic guidance in patients with suspected sepsis, contributing to more timely clinical decisions.
The visits featured the participation of Eneko Goya, Director of Sales for QIAstat-Dx in Europe and the MEA region, and João Lacerda, responsible for QIAGEN sales in Portugal. The presence of both enriched the moments of sharing, promoted the exchange of specialist knowledge and reinforced collaboration between the Quilaban and QIAGEN teams.
More than presenting a new solution, this initiative created opportunities for direct contact with healthcare professionals and discussion on the current challenges of diagnosing critical infectious diseases, such as sepsis. The joint work between Quilaban, QIAGEN and laboratories contributes to accelerating access to molecular diagnostic solutions and to increasingly effective clinical response.
