Integrated into the LINK Programme, the initiative brought together Quilaban employees and young people supported by the institution in an afternoon marked by socialising, sharing and team spirit.
On 19th June, Quilaban employees participated in a football afternoon with children from Casa dos Rapazes, a Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS) that supports young people in situations of vulnerability. The activity took place at Grupo Sportivo Carcavelos and provided a moment of socialising and proximity between all participants.
The initiative sought to create connections through sport, promoting sharing, teamwork and interaction between employees and the community. At the end, each child was also surprised with the gift of a shirt and scarf from their favourite football club.
The activity was part of the LINK Programme, a Quilaban initiative that encourages employee involvement in social impact actions and promotes the creation of closer ties with the communities where the company is present. Through this programme, opportunities are sought for volunteering and moments of sharing that generate value for all involved.
More than the result on the pitch, the meeting was marked by the relationships built throughout the afternoon and by moments of joy shared. A reflection of how small gestures can contribute to creating meaningful experiences and strengthening the connection between people.
