Quilaban organised the talk SleepWell – The Power of Sleep in Our Well-being, led by Nurse Romeirica Santos from Workwell, dedicated to the impact of sleep on health, concentration and productivity.

 

“One single night of poor sleep can reduce our ability to concentrate and make good decisions by around 30%.”
This statement set the tone for SleepWell – The Power of Sleep in Our Well-being, a session promoted by Quilaban as part of its internal well-being programme.

Led by Nurse Romeirica Santos from Workwell, the talk explored the essential role of sleep in emotional regulation, memory and cognitive performance, debunking the idea that sleeping well is a luxury. On the contrary, it is a biological necessity with a direct impact on health and productivity.

Through scientific insights, practical tips and engaging curiosities, the session reinforced that sleep quality is a key factor for balance between body and mind and, ultimately, for a healthier and happier life.
