In the 18th of May was conducted in the Oporto IPO the first advanced course in Virology.

Quilaban has participated in a workshop, the first advanced course in Virology, with a last generation product, the cytomegalovirus (CMV) Quantiferon.

Following the success of the implementation of QuantiFERON®-TB Gold Plus in the diagnostic of latent tuberculosis (TB) in Portugal, we wish to accomplish the same result with QuantiFERON®-CMV in the monitoring of the patients’ immune state and protection against CMV infection.

The course participants had the opportunity to perform the test as well as evaluate the results in the face of a clinical case.
