In partnership with the Pre and Postnatal Care Centre of Lisbon, the initiative provided a moment of clarification and sharing on one of the stages that raises most doubts among parents.

Bambo Nature promoted, on 1st June, Children’s Day, the workshop “Potty Training Guided by the Child”. The initiative, held in partnership with the Pre and Postnatal Care Centre of Lisbon, aimed to help families better understand this stage of infant development and the challenges associated with it.

Led by Dr. Patrícia Silva, a physiotherapist specialising in childhood potty training, the session addressed some of the most frequently asked questions by parents and carers at this stage. Participants had the opportunity to better understand the signs of readiness for potty training and the importance of respecting the child’s natural rhythm.

Throughout the workshop, practical guidance was shared on the main challenges associated with this process. Some of the most common mistakes were also addressed and the impact that pressure or expectations related to age can have on the child’s experience and family.

The event also featured the presence of various public figures who shared their parenting journey through social networks, including Adriana Müller, João Santos, Ricardo Oliveira, Sara Cardoso, Mariana Lourenço, Neuza Tavares and Mia Lupu. Their participation contributed to an environment of proximity, sharing and exchange of experiences among participants.

The initiative, which also included a dedicated space for the youngest and a moment of socialising between families, reflected Bambo Nature’s commitment to promoting more informed, conscious and respectful parenting that meets the needs of each child.
